Extend a Garden Pond into the Lawn to Create a Water Garden

In this example the liner of the pond has been extended into and under the lawn area immediately surrounding the pond. By doing so it enables a water garden to be created allowing bog or aquatic plants to by planted around the edge of the pond, as the surrounding soil is always kept moist. This creates a perfect environment for plants such as ligularia or water iris and allows a softer, more natural look to your garden pond.
