MAKING YOUR OWN GARDEN STEPPING STONES

In the past making a concrete stepping stone mold was a costly and time consuming process but with the improvement in mold making technologies, cheap stepping stone molds are now readily available to the public. These molds come in numerous styles ranging from animals to ornate geometric patterns.

The molds are designed to be re-used multiple times making them a very economical way of creating stepping stones for your garden. One advantage about making your own is that you can custom color your concrete stepping stones to any color you want by adding either iron oxides or paint pigments. Both of these products are readily available at any good hardware or home improvement store.
