Use Trellis to Provide a Frame for Climbing Plants and Vines

Traditionally the main use for garden trellis was as a structure to grow plants or vines upon. I personally like the garden trellis to be a feature, as well as the climber which is grown over it. The redwood trellis panel in the example shown is an attractive feature in its own right and it would be a shame to let a climber cover it completely.
